Where does my SortScout data go?
The current version stores the working project in your browser using local storage. Simply creating and saving a SortScout project does not intentionally upload that project to FutureBizTools servers.
Browser storage can be cleared, so export important projects if you need a separate copy.

The current version is deliberately simple. These are the most important things to know before using it.
Is SortScout free?
Yes. The current version can be used without creating an account or paying a subscription.
Does it use AI?
The core tool does not require a paid AI service. It uses browser-side rules to recognise common details such as prices, dates and URLs. Future versions may add optional smarter features where they are genuinely useful.
Can I open the export in Excel?
Yes. SortScout exports CSV files, which can be opened by Microsoft Excel and most spreadsheet applications.
Will it always detect everything correctly?
No automated organiser is perfect. Review the comparison row and edit any field that has been interpreted incorrectly before relying on the result.
Can I use it for products or competitor research?
Yes. Choose a different research template from the project panel and use the comparison board for the information that matters to that task.
Have another option to compare?
Scroll back to the tool, add the next set of information and build another row. The comparison becomes more useful as you add alternatives.
